The team of James Emmens and Marco Tagliariol won the September Jumeirah Pairs by The Brain & Performance Centre, a tournament held at Jumeirah Golf Estates. The duo scored an impressive 81 Stableford points to secure a four-point victory over the runners-up. The tournament, which featured 70 players, was a two-person aggregate team event played on the Fire course.
Tournament Highlights and Winners
- Overall Winners: James Emmens and Marco Tagliariol took first place with 81 points. Emmens expressed his happiness with their performance, particularly on a challenging ninth hole where they managed to secure two gross pars.
- Runners-Up: The second-place team was George Harding and Neil Clinton, who finished with 77 points.
- Gross Division Winners: The gross division was won by Mark Schoombie and Tom Stephenson, the 2025 JGE Men’s Club Champion. They returned a brilliant score of 79 points, which is the equivalent of a seven-under-par total.
The event was held in partnership with The Brain & Performance Centre, a DP World Company, and was praised by Cameron McWhinnie of Jumeirah Golf Estates for its continued success.
